After High School I attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I taught Kindergarten and First grade for 29yrs.I met my Husband, Marlin Siebach, at school. After he graduated we spent the next six years traveling as he served active duty in the Military. It was a great opportunity to meet different people and cultures. We have five wonderful children and seven beautiful grand children. We are currently both retired and are looking forward to this next great adventure.

Janet and I were roomates at BYU for a year. She met her husband there and moved to Alaska. She had 3 beautiful chiildren, 2 girls and one son. Her husband called me and told me She had died in a car accident. He said she and the children were coming home from shopping and she slid on the ice and went under a semi truck. She and the girls died but her son was a baby and he was not harmed. We were close and very good friends. It was upsetting to hear about her death at the time. Just thought I would share her story.

Merrie was a good friend. She just lived around the corner from Maren and I. Many happy memories of  playing together, riding bikes, and riding together to school. Rest in peace my friend.
