This makes me so, very very sad. We reconnected at our last class reunion and we were walking and talking together from the gym back to our cars that day. She was amazing and not only amazing but gorgeous. I believe she in the business of construction planning or budgeting and her job as she described it, sounded awesome. She was so happy and I'm so very sorry to hear this. RIP Karen. I'm so sorry that we were late in reconnecting but thanks be to God we did  and we had a beautiful conversation

It seems like it was only yesterday we were celebrating our 50 year reunion. I had not seen  Karyl since high school. We had a very nice conversation...found out we were both working in the construction industry in the bay area at that time. She told me how much she loved her job and that she had no plans to retire anytime soon. She seemed so happy. I am shocked and saddened by her passing. My most sincere condolences go out to all her family and friends. RIP my friend!

I was very saddened to hear of Karyl’s passing. I remember Karyl from way back in our school days but I don’t recall whether she was in any of my classes in high school. I also remember Karyl as a very nice, sweet, and intelligent shy girl. We were fortunate that at our 50-year class reunion we had a chance to reconnect with her. At our 35-year reunion Karyl was the superwoman in a class video I made of that reunion. To honor her memory I have included a link to the beginning of that video in which I tried to portray her as a superwoman arriving at the reunion from far, far away. https://youtu.be/F7sTEjOCM8o

Thank you, Juan, for the video in memory of Karyl.  We have been so fortunate that our class has managed to get together and make these precious memories of reconnection.  Your pictures and videos are much, much appreciated, Juan. ❤️

Karyl was a classmate for so many years through school. She was kind and unassuming and always a friendly person with a great sense of humor. I remember joking about her parents' penchant for naming all the kids K names, even with their middle names, so that her unfortunate initials were KKK. I'm sad to hear of her passing and that I never got to reconnect with her..
